Robert John’s perspective on providing background music
"People often ask me if I mind just providing background music. Actually, the opposite is true. I am not a person who needs to be the center of attention. My role is better suited to operate in the background to enhance and serve, rather than to be a performer entertaining or commanding attention.
I take pride in being sensitive to the occasion, the purpose and spirit of the event, and the appropriateness of my musical offering. I strive to bring the right music, volume level, and appearance to each setting with the hope of making a valuable contribution to the success of the event.
